The Board of Directors is a combination of patients, community members, and staff. They are responsible for governance of the Community Health Center (CHC) and consists of at least 51% patient representation.
The Board takes part in organizational planning and actively shapes the strategic planning process for the CHC. Additionally, they oversees recruitment, evaluation, and on-going support of the Executive Director. There are three standing committees that members participate on: Finance, Board Development, and Executive Leadership. There is a Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary.
Currently, the board consists of 8 patient members, 3 community members, and several staff liaisons who direct committees and projects as needed. The group meets the 3rd (third) Monday of the month, in the evening, at the Corvallis location.
If you are interested in joining the Board or learning more about the opportunity, please email Christine Mosbaugh, Engagement and Communications Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org .
We are particularly interested in representation from the East Linn County area- Lebanon, Sweet Home, and the surrounding area. Please contact us with interest if you would like to learn more!
